Seattle

We finally made it over Snoqualmie Pass after waiting for nearly an hour while the road crews cleared an avalanche. It snowed hard for about 40 miles up and over the pass, the snow was so deep at the summit that all the road signs were completely covered. It is a beautiful drive though with all the snow covered trees, well worth the wait.

Checked into the Homewood Suites overlooking Elliott Bay in downtown Seattle, it's just across the street from the Holland America building and I'm looking forward to some great seafood for the next couple of days.
